The waterfront outside and the outlook at home
The Viewing Point is a free-to-enter, 70-metre walkway. It gives you a useful place to experience the creek, but its panorama does not establish what a particular apartment overlooks. During a viewing, check the living-room and balcony orientation, the floor and the buildings between the unit and the water. Then walk from the actual residential entrance to the section of promenade you expect to use. The route may matter as much as the view if outdoor walks, cafés or meeting friends form part of your routine. For a rental purchase, describe the unit’s own setting accurately: district photographs and a waterfront address alone cannot support a premium-rent assumption. Compare service charges and the apartment’s condition alongside price, and treat any future transport project as future infrastructure rather than a current commute.
